DANI'S BUTTERFLY GIRLS

About US

PURPOSE: Dani's Butterfly Girls is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that exists to aid in the eradication of generational poverty for the youth of Dallas, Texas with an emphasis on their health, education, and social well-being.

MISSION: We are committed to empowering teen girls from marginalized communities with STEM/Art educational mentoring programs and leadership opportunities. We will partner with schools, youth organizations, and communities while implementing our educational and social programs that are dedicated to improving and impacting the lives of middle and high school girls (ages 12-18).

VISION: Our girls will be equipped with the tools needed to identify natural talents and successfully obtain unique STEM/Art careers through higher education and entrepreneurship.

DBG Targeted Program Results:

Increase in positive body image, self-esteem, mental/emotional/physical health, and college/career readiness 

Prevention of teen pregnancy, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness

Decrease in peer pressure, teen smoking and drinking
